Hi Ryan,
have you tested Swfmill? it does exactly that.

Subject: [mtasc] Re: *Feature Request* - SWC Support
I second the motion! Nothing is quite so annoying when developing and
testing multiple components as having to export the SWC's, re-import
them into Flash, update the symbols in the library, replace the
instances, and then republish the FLA. Even with my handy-dandy library
of JSFL scripts it's still a rain-dance.
While we're at it, has anyone found a way to programmatically set up
linkages or "inject" an asset into a SWF's library, outside of the Flash
IDE?

I would like to request this feature once again.
Basically, I would like to be able to include an SWC on the class path
when compiling.
SWC is just a zip file and contains the intrinsic .as files and a
compiled swf.
This should be all the stuff anyone needs to use the classes contained
within via import.
Having the ability of putting SWC's on the classpath means that any
third party component (and most of the MM ones as well) can be used
without having to extract the SWC myself, or without having to use the
Flash IDE to add the component to an fla and then compile it to a swf.
I understand that adding the SWC's swf to the swf being compiled is
probably a challenge, but it would be yet another step away from the
flash IDE.
Anyone with me on this?
Thanks!
