Well your code should work without specifying a buffer size...

Glen Blanchard sent me a patch some days ago, do you have the latest 
1.1.6 mtwin library ?

I added some tests on cvs but they all pass like a charm...

What ftp server are you using ?

May be some change related to haxe 1.10 ? I am still running 1.09 and 
will test this again tomorrow with 1.10.
