[haXe] trace not working for me

I'm on Linux, too, and wine works beautifully with the standalone
debug player (in the Flex 2 SDK zip, player/debug/SAFlashPlayer.exe).

Now reading Nicolas' post, he's probably right and it's missing fonts.
I only noticed that trace suddenly didn't work when I tried
gflashplayer.
