Just because we're not making "money" with these "products" doesnt mean
we're not "competing". For mindshare and users, that is. This doesn't
make us enemies- especially since we can surely still profit from each
other's work.

That seems to be a common misunderstanding about xinf. I hope to get
around some more releasing and caring about my (little) userbase soon,
hope that'll make it clearer too..
