I'd regret if we have two competing projects that try to fill the same
gap, the haXe world is not really big enough for this diversion of
energy.

Thing is, with xinf i took the decision to implement the SVG API/Model,
not the Flash one. I just think it's better to rely on open standards
than proprietary APIs that could be changed any day.
